I cannot believe that this semester is already almost over! I have definitely enjoyed taking this class because it is learning on a whole new level with different views. My other classes, we meet at the same time every week at the same place doing mostly the same thing. This class is so unpredictable that the ride is fun! I really enjoy having classes at different places throughout our community each week because it familiarizes us more with what is out there and gives us opportunities to stay in touch for future resources. Most of the places that we have met at, I have never been to, so it was a neat experience to see what it was all about because I was always curious, but never stopped in myself. I believe we are experiencing the best learning from hearing others talk rather than just staying in one classroom and hearing a lecture. Instead, we are going out and seeing things, learning things, and observing.

Working with the students from Apache is so much fun! I enjoy being around children and helping them and I’m glad we are given the chance to work with them as often as we do for the Chautauqua. Apache is a great school to be at, especially for this class because there are so many students with different cultural backgrounds. And working on our Chautauqua’s is another way to learn more about each of our culture and family. I am nervous about presenting my Chautauqua character, but I am anxious to see all of the students perform theirs.

I am grateful for taking this class with my fellow classmates and the instructor. Everyone is there to lend a helping hand when needed. The instructor is very caring and is very good about making sure everyone understands what we are learning. I’m not a very outspoken person, instead, I like to sit back and hear everyone else talk. I learned that Frances will not let you be “a wallflower” as she would say J I must admit, when we first received our syllabus, I was overwhelmed and nervous about this class. But as time goes on throughout the semester, I am feeling a little more comfortable with this class and enjoying it!
